AFAIK the most popular transcription here is X-SAMPA with slight
modifications like switching between |&| and |{|, using |,| instead
of |%| etc.
While giving examples of the language, people prefer giving
transliterations in plain ASCII, or maximum Latin-1 range which is
readible for many of us. The other stuff may be garbaged by this
server.
