Generally it will, though this listserv is prone to doing things to special
characters (and as of recently, deHTMLizes mail, as well.)
If you do want to send a message with unicode characters make sure you have a
unicode encoding set for the message (the default character set "Western
European" wont cut it), that might help.

Nope, in OE you have to do it by hand.
