Are you American? It certainly won't work for any rhotic dialect; I'm aware of that.

That's right, [r{Iz@]. The only error I have found since posting is that I accidentally spelt "case" as _caes_ instead of _kaes_, ditto "cases".

Yep, as I discussed in reply to Christophe. That's why diacritics are omitted from diphthongs - to minimise this obstacle. I haven't tested this, but I expect that if you measured the frequency of diacritics in my system versus a piece of Swedish text (for example), mine would have fewer per page. And of course, it's all for fun anyway; I don't expect anyone to use it :-) Adrian.
