Wow.  I actually spotted this resemblance while I was reading the gloss
(had I been really clever, I would have spotted it while reading the original).
I think the line "To surrender, I say fuck that!" is what clued me in.
I've been a SR fan since hearing him (rivetingly) at the Clearwater Festival,
and then later in extreme close-up in Spencertown, NY.
