Based on this formula, I have made an MP3 of a very simple (i.e. sine
wave) octatonic scale. It sounds kinda odd, but it's not too
displeasing to my (untrained) Western European ears.
The frequencies I used were:
A 440
B 479
C 523
D 570
E 622
F 678
G 739
H 806
A 880
If anyone (Carsten, particularly?) is interested in hearing it, I can
either try to host it online, or send it individually, depending on
the level of demand.
