nice text.
"Language is not living, not growing, and not a thing; it is a vast system of social
habits and conventions,
inherited from our forebears, and showing every sign of being an
artifact rather than an organic growth."
people speak in flowery phrases they overtook, because they sound
nice, but most of them are as dumb and useless as flowers he-he.
so it is with the meme's "language is growing" "growth is natural"
"natural is good for you".
language is growing, and its growing more wry + twisted +
platidousness each day, it growth uglier
the more it is struggled with mass media's flood and integration of foreign
words, and increase of ambiguity on top of formerly exact terms.
