That gives me an idea for my Arabo-Romance conlang. It will be written with a script looking like the Arabic script, the letters will have the same basic shapes, but with different diacritical dots than the Arabic script (or maybe not that much, let's accept some parallel evolution with our universe :) ). The same thing will go with the vowel marks. They are likely not to be completely comparable to the ones the Arabic script currently uses. Christophe. http://rainbow.conlang.free.fr
