Interesting. From the examples you gave above, I'd guess that (a) is a bit
like a causative case, (c) seems like a regular object (accusative) case.
(b) is a bit of an oddball, it behaves like a patient case when (a) is
present, and like an absolutive(?) when (a) is absent.
