I have a kind of idea that in some RPG there was a random monster in some
high-tech zone called a 'chip monk', a friar of some kind.

But it's usually trying to be 'chipmunk', them untailed squirrels that Disney's
Chip and Dale are theoretically examples of (and ISTR that the most chipmonking
I've seen was from the fans of those cartoons...)
