Therein lies the unworkability of Shavian:
Dance, grass, cat, matter, all have the same vowel
sound. Father has a very different vowel sound from
the others.
Since we can't agree on those sounds we can never
agree on how to spell them in Shavian. Thus Shavian is
doomed.
