Below age 7 you're free to do whatever you want. :)
(Unless you start school when you're six.)
Usually kids go to "dagis", which is daycare. There
are no school activities at dagis. It's just a place
where you leave your kids in the morning and they
can play all day with a bunch of their friends. I
think most dagis have like 20-25 children and about
five-seven people to look after them. You go to dagis from
when you're about one-year-old.
Oh, and there's pre-school I think, for those who
want, which is the year before school starts. I
didn't go to pre-school and I did okay anyway. :)
