I think those words are of the same origin, but who borrowed what </rhetoric question>. Uk. _smalecj_ means 'pig fat' in most cases, but sometimes you may hear smth like _husjachyj smalecj_ 'goose fat'. ObConlang: I'm still hesitating between two words for 'fat' in Kumanca: caw < *jag and maj < *ban'. Does smbody know the difference? ~~~~~~Yitzik~~~~~~
