Rattlesnakes (no legged and 2 legged) live from Canada down into Mexico, so
they aren't unique to the USA. Neither eagles.
Of the suggestions so far, that leaves the buffalo and the turkey for the
USA. BTW, the turkey came close to beng taken as the USA bird.
And if is opening to these sorts of associations, one could suggest:

Serious question: Jeffry, how fine a line of distinction are you seeking?
Types of deer? types of eagles? types of camels?
Mongolia - Bactrian camel
