I've never much cared for the taste modification provided by adding sugar, but
I do use sugar when I want to maximize the stimulant effect. I'm not very
sensitive to caffeine*, but together with (too) much sugar it's just the thing
to keep awake a couple hours more.

* Unlike a friend of me, who gets almost hyperactive from a single 33cl coke.
