Yes they do. I can decide for myself perfectly freely whether any given
religion that claims to have at or near its center a figure that roughly
correlates with the Jesus Christ that I believe in is sufficiently similar
to either mine, or to the archetype, for me to call it "Christian". Also,
certain doctrines that religion X may hold may be contradictory to what I
consider the words of Jesus Christ, and thus be disqualified from that
perspective.

And Sikhs. If you're going to detail the members of the cult of Diaus
Pa:ter, don't forget to add the Sikhs at (or near) one of the recent ends of
the lineage. They're the follow-up to Islam, after all.
