Oh well, everyone else is, so I guess I should too.

1)Where were you brought up?

Born in Boston, MA; brought up in Newton, MA (a suburb two towns
west of Boston).

2)Where do you live, countrywise?

United States.

3)What is your nationality, as you see it?

Ideologically, as some others have said, a citizen of the world;
in practical use -- documentation, travel, etc. -- American.

4)Where does your family come from?

Parent and grandparents all born and raised in the US.
Ultimately, all the heritage I know of goes back to the British
Isles, in particular England, Scotland, Ireland and Man.

5)What colour is your hair?

Blond gone brown. I was light blond for all of my childhood
until late adolescence, and as a consequence I still think of
myself as blond. But most other people say my hair is brown,
which I suppose it is now.

6)What colour are your eyes?

Brown.

7)What colour is your skin?

"White", i.e. fair (pink) and befreckled.

8)Are you left or right handed?

Right handed.

9)What is/are your mother tongue(s)

English, of the general northeast American variety (but despite
the location of my upbringing, not the Boston/eastern
Massachusetts dialect(s))

10)Are you fluent in any other languages? If so, which?

Assuming "fluent" to mean being as comfortable and able in
another language as in my native language, then none. I have
achieved varying levels of competence in a number of languages,
however. The ones in which I have come closest to fluency are,
in chronological order, French, Czech, and Scottish Gaelic.

11)Are you homosexual, heterosexual, or bisexual?

Heterosexual, married.

12) What (non-)religion are you?

Um... I suppose one of those people somewhere on the spectrum
between agnosticism and atheism who nonetheless consider
themselves "spiritual" but not "religious", of
non-practicing-Christian upbringing (i.e. celebrating the
gift-giving and family-gathering aspects of Christmas and
Easter, but that's about it).

13)What denomination of that religion?

Are there denominations for that? :)

14) Finally, what is your favourite colour?

Don't have one particular one, and as others have said, this
would probably be highly situation-dependent. However, as a
general rule, I would say my preferred colors are black, silver,
purple, dark blue, dark green and dark red.

And the rest:

Beard status: Clean shaven until 1995, thereafter alternating
goatee/clean shaven depending upon mood and whim, up until last
fall when I grew a full beard for the first time in my life.
Which I am currently still wearing.

Glasses: yes, since late adolescence. Alternating spells of
glasses and contact lenses, actually (currently glasses).

Smoking: Never. Horrible. Evil.

Drinking: assuming this to mean alcoholic beverages,
occasionally, usually in social situations where others are too.

Caffeine: Soda and sometimes tea. I don't like coffee (foul,
hideous-tasting stuff).

Er... was there anything else I'm forgetting?

Thomas
