i would abide by the Academie's decree.
she could invent "p" in septembre and
force people to pronounce it as well as the mute "a"
in ao=FBt and stick new ending consonants a bit everywhere
with till-then-unknown liaison status that everyone
conspicuously pronounce by now to show faithful submission.
if she tells i can execute liaison in "un n-haricot", i do it.
if she forbids, i dare not. and when she wants me to put
feminine -e after a participle i agree with her - especially if
i can't get the rule right half of the time because it is obscure
100% of the time. i know She knows.
