I tend to misidentify strangers as people I know; really embarassing to say
"hello, Sara!" to a girl I've never met and whose name is "Linda". Since I'm
aware of this, I sometimes over-compensate, and conclude that people I know
are strangers, which's embarassing when they say "Hello, Andreas!".
Speaking of hairstyles, there's a girl at Uni who'll every few months
comment on my nice, new hairstyle; utterly regardless of whether I've had my
hair cut or done anything else to it lately. She's also, once or trice,
remarked on a "new", flashy piece of clothing of mine, which's not merely
been months old but seen by her many times.
