Wow ... not possible? Then how is it that most of the people on this list HAVE LEARNED THE TERMINOLOGY? Yeah, some of them are tough to learn, like pharyngeal. What? Voiced and voiceless is a distinction that, in many languages (including French) is ONLY made in consonants! The distinction occurs in vowels in some languages, but not very many.
