At my job, we have student assistants who take papers to be sent to
other offices and log them. Everytime one of our student assistants
asks if we have anything for her to log, she says "Do you have any
loggings?" She is not a native speaker of English as her first
language is Spanish, but it's odd to hear "logging" treated as a noun
in English. Of course, I don't say anything, because I feel it's
inappropriate to call her on that.
