I'm not sure, but I've always thought the bilabial click to be moresimilar to the
popping sound (which can be more adequately describedas a "smack" than a kiss,
in my opinion).
I must have read it somewhere but forgotten where...

At least, during phonology class that was stressed very much.
A friend of my did research on clicks in Hatsa and he
reported that the bilibial clicks there had a lot of friction,
as if "kissing in the air".
