Well, in another timeline where the Bantu did not reach the southern end
of Africa, I might expect a clicky Afrikaans, if A. had borrowed from the
Khoi-San languages as *here* it has borrowed from the Bantu languages.
A. is a little bit creolized, after all, compared to its ancestral Dutch.
