Elsevier's concise Spanish etymological dictionary : containing 10,000
entries, 1,300 word families / by Guido Gómez de Silva. Amsterdam ; New York

The only Spanish etymological dictionary in English, it rests on much of the
latest research on the subject and includes material no usually found in
such dictionaries ( e.g. etymologies of personal and place names, endings,
and prefixes).
