I have had this experience over on the Straightdope Message boards. The
thread was about Esperanto, and the more fanatical Esperantists were
absolutely offended about the criticisms they got. Also, one was convinced
that it would practically save the world and the money spent on
translators if everyone would learn Esperanto.
