I've always prefered a Greek plural, MacIntoi, sometimes
spelled 'MacIntoy', which sums up the feelings of many a Unix bigot
about the capabilities of the things.
Another friend of mine, also a computer geek, has taken to the
Hebrew masculine plural. Now, for at least the two of us, you have
"one avocado, two avocadim" with the latter often rendered
"avokhadim."
