Oh, well met!  When I want to find out a word for Brithenig I go into
the library and look in the Welsh dictionary to find what the equivalent
word in Welsh is.  If it is clear to me as similar to an existing word
in Brithenig then I stop there.  If it is not then I compare what the
similar word in the Spanish and French dictionaries would.  I say a
prayer to S. Wiborada that the University library has le Grand Robert,
multivolume and all the etymology of French that I can eat!  Because of
this a thorough translation exercise will take me several days to
complete to my satisfaction.
