You need to change your AutoCorrect settings.
In Word2007, it's under Word Options under
the big Office button in the top left corner. In
previous versions of word, it's under Tools->Options.
You can selectively delete certain corrections
such as the one you're having problems with, or
turn them all off. I sometimes use fonts for other
scripts (non-Unicode), so I turned off all auto-
correction just in case.
