Looks a bit too late for that (I mean that with a smile!) since the lang is
obviously Germanic. I really don't see how you can make a language from
"nearly all the major Terran (?) language groups" - how do you decide what
is major? Is it numbers of speakers, cultural influence, geographical
spread,
or what? Is there a history behind the lang? If there is, I'd say, just make
it consistent with that. If your language base arose from a bunch of
futuristic
Inuit getting fed up with the lack of polar bears to hunt and so taking off
to Alpha Centauri in a starship, then give the lang a lovely polysynthetic
tone.
