hum.. well the difficulty here would be that there would be a
definite difference between the conception of a doctor in narethanaal
and that of a healer... a healer could be interpreted as "someone who
heals/is healing" protsduan as derived from the verb "to heal"
protsdu... the concept of healing someone else would end up having
magical/mystical connotations in which case "to heal (someone else
usually by magical means)" hwes would form "healer" as hwesan... a
doctor would be much harder to define especially in light of their
other functions that not only involve "healing" (or perhaps a better
word would be "treatment") but also prevention and possibly
follow-up...
> 4. eye
izembrianos... from 'izembria' meaning 'soul' and 'nos' meaning
'window' even though traditionally the compound for narethanaal would
be the other way around... 'window of soul' rather than 'soul of
window'... but izembrianos and esp. izembrianosa (pl.)sounded
better...
> 5. friend
grat atera... which literally means 'less beloved' which may sound
like an insult but it's really somehow not...
> 6. itch and/or scratch
itch being the feeling around the itchy area... scratch being what
you do to that itch... the (english?) use of itching your itch
wouldn't work here...
itchy(adj): skren
itch(noun): reskren
scratch(verb): weso
> 7. hurt / pain (the verb ... or not)
or not... pain(noun): eh
> 8. diagnosis
hmmm.. perhaps a 'diagnoser' (sugestan) would be a better term for
doctor... anyway from the verb 'to diagnose' sugest you get susugest,
diagnosis...
> 10. ill
ill/sick: urg
