Reminds me of the English pair "uh-huh" and "huh-uh" that some people
use for "yes" and "no", respectively.

What I find amusing is the contrast between German |ieh!| "yuck! ick!"
and Japanese |ii| "good" :) "Sore wa ieh desu yo!"
