Saalangal tries to go with the best pronunciation they can to fit. In the
script a recent development was a diacritic to "change" the sound of a
glyph to that of a foreign one (d + diacritic = j (/dZ/). But,
pronunciation wise, it's as best they can manage. My last name would
translate well, but a name like your boyfriend's would probably be
slaughtered.
