The Human Body

Has anybody seen this series? It has just finished in NZ. One of the
episodes focused on ageing. It mentioned that our perception of colour
changes during our lifetime. As children our eyes focuses on a greater
amount of blue tinge than when we are older when our eyes focuses more on
brown tinge in what we see, during our lives our brain compensates and we
don't notice. It is apparently very evident in paintings by Monet before
and after he had cateracts removed. It struck me that a conlang aware of
this process might use this analogy in idiom relating to age.
