Probably not. The Romance loans in Maltese are basically from Sicilian, and
don't have the characteristic marks of LF (verbs in the infinitive, adjectives
in the masculine contrary not only to conventional but even to natural
gender).

It's interesting that the Ethnologue lists one of the alternative names of
LF as "Ferenghi".
