Indeed it does, Matthew!  But then again, it has a marvelous and
completely serendipitous rhythm in Teonaht as well!
Alliteration in the first phrase:  Tenuo al aittear
                    TEN-yo al ai-TAY-ar
Broken alliteration in the second phrase:  Kraiko al ofykya
                    *KRAI-*koh al o-FIH-*kee-uh
Vowel alliteration and internal alliteration on m in the third phrase:
                                        Edrime al imuif
                    *EH-drih-may al *Im-yif
So I'm well pleased with this.  It comes from a much longer poem of
mine written in English.
Yours even rhymes, and it has a kind of consonance with "t" "s" "t" "s"
in the
first phrase.
