Interestingly, on Firefox on Windows 2000, the sidebard text in
red ("Languages", "Other Stuff", "Links" etc) spills into the main
part of the page when I increase the font size enough, while
the language names in blue text get cut off at the sidebar margin
when I increase the font size. It happens at roughly 16pt or greater.
Also, typo:
"opinianted" >> "opinionated"
I agree with those who think you should switch to a simpler and
more standard color scheme, though these colors don't bother
me as much as they do some people. Personally I tend to go for
white text on black background (which is much easier on the
eyes when reading a lot of text on screen) or leave everything
to the reader's browser settings. I sometimes keep my browser defaults
at white-on-black, but I can't do it all the time because some poorly
designed web pages and apps become partially or wholly unusable
in that scheme, due to some colors being hard-coded and others
left to browser default. (Don't get me started about how the toolbar
icons in some Microsoft products become invisible when you set your
Windows colors to white on black!)
