Just FYI, that "cross" is a typographic symbol called "dagger" and is normally used like "bullets" in computerese; sometimes also to indicate footnotes. The "long s" is probably the symbol for Dutch florin. Christophe also wrote:

Glad to see that change; I didn't like Narbonish either.
