The exhibition is over now and has been a success (although we have only
managed to present two thirds of our material). The project is therefore
going on-line next year. On this future web-site there will be for the
beginning (topics):
- What are artificial languages, what is a language, what is art.
- Major characteristics of languages in general.
- Characteristics of artificial languages in contrast to that.
- Systematics of artificial language, what types of AL are there.
Definitions. Characteristics.
- AL and science.
- Use of AL.
- History of ALs.
- Sample grammars.
Later on these themes are going to be added:
- Word lists, translation lists (How to say ... in ...)
- Conlang Database with full classification of every entry.
- Survey on the people who invent languages. :)
It's going to be hard work...
Again, thanks for help!
Regards
Sven Sommerfeld
