I've often thought about doing a conlang which had noun classes, just
so I could have a little fun with bizarre categories. How about a
category for tortoise shells, fruit bats, pencils, and anything that
makes you faintly nostalgic (unless it's light blue, in which case it
goes in a different category).
Just a little Friday afternoon silliness...
