Because they're our nearest neighbours. I'm especially talking about the North. The primary reason for getting rid of the requirement is so that it's easier for teachers from the North to come down to teach here.

Feck! I could do with one of those yokes! What I do is I download my mail in college (CIT) and then attempt to read it. I'm four days behind at this point due to all the work I've been doing on my fourth year project. Dog in His Kennel on High, I'm tired!

I've wondered that myself! I've no idea how other people manage to keep up with the deluge of messages. I'm at 406 right now. Still, since I've got Mail Warrior things have been so much easier. I *despise* the awful webmail interface Eircom.net use. Now I don't have to stay in college all day to read the list and I can just sit in my bedroom with my finger hovering over the delete key.
