'The Discovery Channel' today, heard something about "in a Burundi
language" (apologies if I misspelledd anything in there)....when one person
talks to a person of higher status, the (lower-status) person deliberately
speaks ungramattically.

are there other languages with that feature? if so, or if not, how does one
distinguish between ungrammatical sentance and unusual (but grammatical) ?

ie - "tree fell man"

now, is the sentance an SVO about a bonsai tree falling from a man's
grasp...or an OVS about a man falling out of a tree? how does one
distinguish the two, when first encountering the language for the first
time? (ie, in a Relay).

*curious*
