Maybe. I tend to think of it as a hobby, rather than an art form. But,
I can see the argument for calling it an art-form.

Anything that doesn't make you money or involve spending money to do
things with crowds of other people, or sitting around watching moving
images on a screen is a waste of time in our culture.
