I'm working on my own (personal use) stenographic system, and I'm
systematising my abbreviations. Dutton Speedwords was mentioned,
and for stenographic purposes I like the princple behind it, but
some of the forms can be a bit esoteric - but it has been
inspirational in my own system.
Yours is certainly the most imaginative I've seen - I like the use
of the chinese character, and now that I'm learning chinese
characters I find myself doing some of that too. When I was a
teenager I was really in to the history of alchemy and I found some
of the symbols useful in note taking.
I've also been known to use cyrillic, runic and old Irish (roman,
not ogham) letters for various abbreviations.
Cheers,
Eamon
