Not quite, but I have a similar experience. Iftinas is a language I =
created
back in high school for the purpose of writing secret notes, and I never
wrote down the vocabulary. I did have one page of noun and verb =
paradigms,
but no indication of what they actually meant, and nothing more about the
grammar. After a while, the language started falling into disuse, and I
realized that I had forgotten a lot of the words. So I started =
documenting
what I could remember or figure out from context before I forgot the rest
of it.
