Re: French, bread

I'm another of those who doesnt see anything particularly pretty or
romantic about French. The other day a friend and I were talking about
French, and we both came to the conclusion that to us it seemed cold,
stiff, and well, snobbish (perhaps because, often in shows, the mark of
pretentiousness for those in high social status is that they all speak
French or pretend to at least). No offense to native speakers, or those
who speak it as a second language! :). We may be skewed in our opinions.
My friend is a native Spanish speaker, and that's my focus here in school.
We both said that French to us lacked the warmth and musicality of Spanish
(Latin American at least).

But, just my dos centavos :)
