In Gussenhoven's phonology book (which isn't all bad ;)=20
he mentions a word game in Luganda called Ludikya where
you actually reverse all the syllables of the word.
Luganda contrasts both consonants and vowels in length.
But when the syllables move around in the game, the
durational structure stays the same:
Luganda Ludikya=20
mubinikilo --> lokinibimu 'arm'
baana --> naaba 'funnel'
JJuba --> bbaJu 'dove'
kiwoJJolo --> loJowwoki 'butterfly'
