In spite of digitalization rotation clocks don't
seem to be falling out of use (probably because
once you learn how they are quicker to read),
but if they would, these terms would become as
completely unhelpful as they are long. Perhaps
one might say "rightwise" and "leftwise" instead.
At least that's an idea for a conlang!
