Not British, but... One of those little as-yet-unrealised conlang ideas floating around in my brain is to write/create a dialect/slang for for a really effin tick Dublin accent (probably exaggeratedly thick for fun). It did occur to me that standard english orthography would be completely unsuitable, but I haven't done enough of a phonetic survey to see (1) what range of sounds exist and (2) what the phonemes might be. One the evidence of this one dialect, I think regional British ones would easily require each their own orthography. stephen
