I remember hearing that from my teachers all the time. According to them, the
pupils of the years before were all so much better than us and so much more
attentive and interested... Except that they said the same to those ones
before, and carried on saying the same to the pupils the years after us. My
sister nearly had the same teachers as I had had, and she came home saying how
much my class was praised by them and shown as example to her class :))) . If
there's a disorder here, you have to look for it within the teachers, not the
pupils ;))) .
