You're ignoring the Cambodian coastline between Thailand and Vietnam
(it's only Laos that's landlocked) but basically right. Heading off
into the sea you get the Philippines, Indonesia and East Timor. I'm
not sure I could pinpoint Timor, but otherwise I think I could say
which country most of the major islands belonged to. (Right now I
have a map of Asia on the wall behind me, so it's not much of a
challenge). Of course, exactly where you consider SE Asia to end in
the sea is arguable - maybe you place the islands in "Australasia" or
"Oceania" or something of the kind.
