This sounds strange to me. I've never found "coon" meaning anything other
than "raccoon". From the way you're saying this, I guess that "coon"
meaning a black person is something said in America, but I've never heard
it. I've lived in the north and in California, so perhaps it's something
used in the south. (That's a whole different country anyways.)
